Firing fees

We charge $6/kg of bisqueware. After your item has been bisque fired, we weigh it and that determines how much we charge you. An item that weighs 250g would cost you $1.50.

The firing fee charge covers three things, the bisque firing, the glaze ingredients you'll use, and the glaze firing.

Clay

At WPS we fire to cone 6. We sell a variety of Primo Pro cone 6 clays, which you can purchase at the studio. Prices vary from $36? to $47.

You can use commercial cone 6 clay purchased elsewhere, but it must be checked and approved before it can be fired.

Meet the Maker

$20 for up to 4 WPS members to sell their items during Saturday market hours. Members taking part in Meet the Maker must demonstrate pottery techniques, answer questions about pottery and promote the studio.
