What's on over the weekend?

Raku firing
Whanganui Potters Studio will have their fundraising raku firings where you can purchase and glaze a piece of bisque fired pottery

Pottery demonstrations
Club members will demonstrate pottery techniques such as wheel throwing and slab building.

Local art
A wide variety of locally made art will be available to purchase

Plants
Why not pick up some garden to go with the garden art? A wide range of plants will be available.

Make n Bake
Kids (and adults) can try their hand making clay creations. Makers can have one piece fired for free. We'll also have a couple of pottery wheels for people to try.

Free admission
Waltz on in without a care in the world. But please leave your dogs at home. Sorry, we know it's rough.

Raffle
We run a raffle each year with great prizes. This year includes a gin making course from Papatiti Gin & a stay at Takahuri Glamping Retreat.

Lovely Cuppa
WPS members make and donate unique keep cups. We sell them at great prices to fight disposable cup waste. Profits directly support the club. Strictly one cup per person.

Cool refreshing drinks
Roots Brewery will be on site to help you quench your thirst. Offering a range of alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks, many from local producers.

Face painting
Grace will be joining us this year as our resident face painter. Check out her skills for the kids or even yourself.

Indoor art
We'll have a small number of indoor artists on site too, with beautiful art from paintings to glass and more.

Live music
If you need a pause, we'll have a number of musicians who'll be playing over the weekend.
Where will it be?
15A Caversham Road, Whanganui
Art in the Garden will go ahead rain or shine. Our art is waterproof and so are we.
